Service and maintenance of automation systems is what turns a one-off project into a system that runs reliably for years. Any process control system (ICS) needs periodic attention: sensors drift, equipment wears out, operating conditions change. Atlas Scada takes on the maintenance of automation systems and instrumentation & control (I&C) — both our own and those installed by other contractors.
Regular maintenance is cheaper than a breakdown. Our goal is to prevent failures rather than deal with their consequences, which is why we focus on diagnostics and remote monitoring of equipment parameters.
What maintenance includes
- Scheduled inspections and diagnostics of panels, controllers, and I&C.
- Checking and calibrating sensors and measurement channels.
- Updating and backing up controller and SCADA programs.
- Troubleshooting and replacing failed components.
- Remote monitoring of parameters and on-call site visits by a specialist.
What the maintenance schedule covers
For each site we draw up a schedule with the frequency of work (for example, quarterly or twice a year) and a list of checks: tightening of contacts, thermal imaging of loaded assemblies (as needed), verification of setpoints and protection trips, inspection of actuators, and updating of software backups. The schedule is set out in the contract, so you always know the scope and timing of the work.
Remote monitoring via the Atlas server
Through our own dispatch server we see equipment operating parameters online 24/7. This lets us spot a deviation — a rise in temperature, a drop in pressure, frequent trips — before it leads to a breakdown, and respond in advance. Some issues are resolved remotely, without a site visit.
Ways we work
- A one-off visit to diagnose or fix a specific fault.
- A regular maintenance contract with an agreed schedule.
- Auditing and taking over the maintenance of systems installed by other contractors.
Stages
- Surveying the site and assessing the condition of the system.
- Agreeing on the schedule, frequency, and terms of the contract.
- Scheduled work, remote monitoring, and prompt response to service requests.
Why Atlas Scada
- Systems are serviced by engineers who can design and program them — we understand how everything works inside and find the cause faster.
- Remote monitoring reduces the number of site visits and equipment downtime.
- Experience at industrial, commercial, and infrastructure sites across Kazakhstan since 2015.
