What is I&C
I&C stands for "instrumentation and control." I&C installation
Correct installation is half the battle in measurement. We install instruments according to the design and standards, in locations that ensure reliable readings (allowing for straight pipe runs for flow meters, tapping points for pressure, and thermowells for temperature transducers). We route measuring lines separately from power lines and apply shielding and grounding to eliminate pickup and interference. Every circuit is labeled and verified — which simplifies subsequent commissioning and maintenance.
Commissioning of measuring channels
After installation we perform commissioning "from sensor to controller": we verify wiring correctness, set measuring ranges, configure signal scaling in the PLC and SCADA, compare readings against a reference and eliminate discrepancies. The goal is for the value on the operator's screen to match the real parameter at the facility, with no "floating" or unreliable data.
Instrument calibration and verification
We adjust and calibrate measuring channels so that the measurement error stays within requirements. Calibration removes systematic deviations and brings readings into line with real values. If official verification is required for commercial metering instruments (heat, water, gas, electricity), we arrange it through accredited metrology laboratories and bring the documentation into compliance with the requirements.

I&C within the process control system
Measuring instruments are the field level of automation. Instrument signals reach the controllers (PLCs), are processed according to the embedded logic and are passed on to SCADA and the dispatch system.
