When a fire suppression system needs automation or upgrading
- The automation is old, runs unstably or is partially faulty.

Reliability as a principle
In fire suppression we do not cut corners on reliability: we duplicate control (from the control room and locally), make pumps and power supply redundant, and add self-diagnostics and informative alarming. After startup, the fire pump does not stop automatically on a pressure drop — shutdown is performed by staff only. The logic is built so the system is guaranteed to operate under the worst conditions — during a fire and a power outage.
Zoned suppression over large areas
For extended facilities we implement zoned logic: the system identifies the perimeter where the fire originated, opens the required valves and triggers suppression only in the necessary area, without engaging the entire network. This conserves the water reserve and improves protection effectiveness — we deployed this solution at the Kuryk port.
Standards and requirements
We design fire suppression automation as a fire protection system to the applicable standards, with integration into the fire alarm system and signal output to the fire post.
Integration with Atlas SCADA
The system status — pump operation and faults, power availability, tank level, pressure — is brought to the Atlas SCADA server. This provides continuous monitoring of system readiness and early detection of faults.
Timeline and cost
The cost depends on the system type, the number of pumps and redundancy requirements; the timeline depends on design readiness and equipment delivery. After a site survey we will state the scope, estimate and work schedule.

Frequently asked questions
Why can't the fire pump be stopped automatically based on pressure?
For fire suppression systems this is unacceptable: once started, the pump must run until staff give the command. Automatic shutdown on a pressure drop could halt suppression at the most critical moment.
Does a fire pump station need an ATS?
Yes, it is mandatory. A fire is often accompanied by a power outage, so the station is fed from two inputs with automatic transfer switching (ATS), and for critical facilities a diesel generator is added.
Do you automate fire suppression systems installed by another contractor?
Yes. After a survey we will restore or replace the automation, implement protection algorithms and integration with the fire alarm system. We have carried out such restorations, for example at Astana Arena.
